If you suffer from epistaxis, what do you have?

Nosebleed

NOSEBLEED

Answer: Epistaxis is the medical term for nose bleeding. Bleeding can range from a trickle to a strong flow, and the consequences can range from a minor annoyance to life-threatening hemorrhage. "Epistaxis" is a Greek word meaning "a dripping," especially of blood from the nose. About 60% of people have a nosebleed at some point in their life. Nosebleeds are rarely fatal, accounting for only 4 of the 2.4 million deaths in the U.S. in 1999. Nosebleeds most commonly affect those that are younger than 10 and older than 50.

JAWS

Answer: Steven Spielberg’s 1975 thriller Jaws is widely credited as the first modern blockbuster, and it also made an entire generation afraid to enter the ocean. Spielberg’s nautical masterpiece has a cornucopia of memorable quotes. Most memorable, though, is police chief Martin Brody’s (Roy Schneider) fearful claim after seeing the shark for the first time. Looking around at the small fishing vessel and then back at the enormous shark, Brody proclaims to the boat captain “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” This one line has come into common usage any time we find ourselves in over our heads.

PARASITE

Answer: Parasite, the South Korean comedy-thriller directed by Bong Joon Ho, won four Academy Awards at this year’s Oscars ceremony, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film. It also became the first non-English language film in Oscar history to win the award for Best Picture. During a ceremony shadowed by criticism about the lack of diversity in the major acting categories, “Parasite” became the first film to win with an entirely Asian cast. It was one of only 11 films not in English to have been nominated for best picture in the history of the Oscars.

NARCISSUS

Answer: In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a hunter who was known for his beauty. His rejection of the love of the nymph Echo drew upon him the vengeance of the gods. Nemesis, the goddess of revenge, lured him to a pool where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it. Unable to leave the allure of his image, he eventually realized that his love could not be reciprocated and committed suicide. Narcissus is the origin of the term narcissism, a fixation with oneself and one's physical appearance or public perception.

PHKRAUSE

 the  answer  is   MARINE ONE

dgrimm60

Answer: Marine One is the call sign of the helicopters used to carry the President of the United States. The helicopters are operated by Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1; “Nighthawks”), which is responsible for all White House military aircraft. As a security measure, Marine One always flies in groups with identical helicopters, sometimes as many as five. One helicopter carries the president, while the others serve as decoys. When the helicopter lands, a Marine is waiting outside to greet the president, regardless of the location. The vice president travels in Marine Two.

 NASA ENGINER

Answer: Lonnie Johnson invented one of the most successful toys of all time, the Super Soaker water gun. Johnson developed the toy after-hours while working for NASA as a systems engineer for the Galileo mission to Jupiter and the Cassini mission to Saturn. Despite his busy days, Johnson continued to pursue his own inventions in his spare time. After tinkering with the invention of a high-powered water gun, Johnson introduced the Super Soaker in 1990. The wildly successful toy has racked up retail sales of more than $1 billion.
