Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted May 27 Moderators Report Share Posted May 27 The late 1960s and early 1970s was a time when independent publications came into being that claimed to report and discuss SDA issues that were not discussed in official SDA publications. The majority of those publications only lasted for short periods of time and ceased to exist. Spectrum is one that continues to this day. It began in 1969. As it celebrates more than 50 years of life, it has launched a campaign to raise some $1,000,000 in funds to sustain its life in the future. currently it has raised more than $800,000 of that amount and is expected to reach its goal. Adventist Today is considered to be a complement to Spectrum. It began publication in 1993. phkrause
